Punch Bowls: Plastic Barware, Plastic Dinnerware.
Punch bowls, ice buckets, and punch bowl accessories have been a staple at parties everywhere for hundreds of years. The ice bucket is used to hold ice, of course, while the punch bowl, accompanied by punch cups and ladles, is filled with an assortment of alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic drink ingredients. The end result should be a tasty beverage for everyone to enjoy at your celebration.
So, where did punch come from? Would you believe that punch originally comes from India? Well, it does, and in fact, punch was originally called “paantsch” in Hindi. This version of punch was made from five different ingredients which included sugar, water, lemon, spirits, and tea or spices. English sailors venturing to India brought this drink back to Europe in the seventeenth century, and the punch bowl quickly became a regular feature in most European households.
