A Tangled Birthday Party
Disney’s newest princess, Rapunzel, is a favorite among both boys and girls. Here are some great ideas for throwing a Tangled themed party.Tangled Party Activities
Painting the Walls: While trapped in the tower, Rapunzel becomes very good at drawing and painting. If you have an open wall, or a gate outside, put big sheets of paper over it and let the kids paint it, just like Rapunzel did in the movie!Dress Like a Princess: Depending on how many guests you have, divide them up into teams. Using toilet paper, have them design a dress and have a princess fashion show. If you have any other items lying around they could use for decorating, let them have at it!
Crazy Princess Hair: Recreate the fun hairstyles Rapunzel had in the movie. Pipe cleaners will be the main accessory you’ll need. If you wrap them in their hair, it will make the hair stand up or stick out. Then using ribbons, plastic flowers, tulle and other colorful decorations, add them to the hairstyles too! This will make them feel even more like Rapunzel.
Pascal Drawing Contest: Since Rapunzel is so artistic, have a drawing contest! Have each kid draw his or her best impression of Pascal, Rapunzel’s very best friend – a small chameleon.

Squash and Hazelnut Soup: Since this dish is Rapunzel’s favorite, it only makes sense to have it at the party. It’s quite a crowd pleaser.Other Items: Have baguettes and spreadable cheese out at the party. Fruit is always a good idea too. These are all things you see in the movie.
Star-shaped Sour Cream Sugar Cookies: Whip up a batch of yummy sugar cookies for the party, and use a sun-shaped cookie cutter. Cover them in yellow frosting. Here is an easy recipe for sour cream sugar cookies:
You’ll need –
2 eggs
2 cups of sugar
1 cup of butter or margarine
1 cup of sour cream
5 cups of flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp of baking soda
½ tsp of salt
4 tsp of baking powder
Mix the butter, eggs, vanilla and sugar together. Add sour cream and blend together. Combine all the dry ingredients together in a separate bowl, and then add the wet mix. Knead the dough together. Bake the cookies at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.2 eggs
