Hey hey, it’s a party! People say we monkey around! Have a great birthday party bash with these ideas for a fun and wild jungle party for all your little monkeys. Here are some great ideas for a monkey-themed birthday party!Party Activities
Monkey Piñata Fun – Set up a fun monkey piñata to hang from a tree in your backyard like a spider monkey swinging from the trees. Kids love a good piñata, and they can take their chance swinging at the monkey to get at the treats and candies.Monkeying Around – Using one long, yellow balloon as the “banana,” kids toss the banana around in time to music, making sure it doesn’t touch the “jungle floor.” When the music stops, everyone must grab one of the banana balloons. Call out a name and they must pop their banana and complete the mini challenge inside. Afterwards everyone gets a prize.
Monkey Dance Freeze – Play a monkey version of the statue dancing game, though every time the music stops, the kids have to stop in a monkey pose. The last one standing in their best monkey pose wins.
Jungle Jewelry – Have kids get into the jungle spirit by making their own fruity necklaces to wear during the party. Offer fruit loops and other colorful cereal to string around a plastic string.
Monkey See, Monkey Do – Choose one person to be “it,” and have them leave the room. Then gather the kids into a circle and select one leader. When the “it” child returns to the room, the other kids have to dance around and follow the leader; doing fun dances and poses. Then “It” has to guess which one is the Leader. Switch up the “It” guest each time.

Monkey Sandwiches – Cut up mini sandwiches of marshmallow fluff with peanut butter and cut up bananas. It’s the ultimate treat for monkeys and kids alike.
Monkey Juice – Serve up a freshly made fruit punch with cranberry juice, seltzer water, and a hint of orange juice. Add ice and serve in a big, colorful jug.
Monkeys on a Log – A fun take on “Ants on a Log,” cut up celery and add peanut butter into each slice. Then sprinkle walnuts and raisins onto the celery pieces, representing the monkeys and other jungle creatures.
