Finding Nemo Party Activities
Beat Bruce: One child will start off being Bruce. The rest of the kids will run back and forth in front of him, trying not to get tagged. If someone is tagged, he or she must lock arms with whoever is Bruce and try to tag more kids. Those kids who are tagged will also lock arms with the growing shark, Bruce. Keep playing until there is one person left.Who’s Got Nemo: Have the kids stand in a circle. Start some music and have them toss around a Nemo figurine. When the music stops, whoever has Nemo is out. Continue until there is one person left.
Deep Sea Relay: Divide the kids into two teams. Each person on the team will take turns putting on flippers, goggles and a snorkel and carrying a bucket of water about 10 yards and back. The first team to complete the relay wins! You may want to do this activity outside, since it could get kind of wet.
Aquarium Wall: If you have an open wall, cover it will pictures and posters of tropical fish, like Dory and Nemo, and deep-sea creatures. Let the kids color them in and make a colorful aquarium wall.
Party Food
Shark Punch: Make your child’s favorite punch for the party. To add a fishy twist to it, freeze some gummy sharks in ice cubes and add them to the bowl.Peanut Butter and Jellyfish Sandwiches: You can’t go wrong with a good old-fashioned peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Cut the sandwiches into fish shapes by using a cookie cutter.
Submarines: Have a sub station where everyone can make their own sandwiches. Have an assortment of cheese, lunch meats and toppings.
Under-the-Sea Fruit Salad: Mix some of your favorite fruits will vanilla yogurt. Add some blue food dye to it to add an under-sea effect to it.
