Snowman Sippers – The Perfect “After Sledding” Treat

Here in the cold, snowy Midwest region we are looking forward to a long weekend with the kids home from school to observe President’s Day Weekend. What to do with the kids for four days, you ask? Throw a snowman sledding party!! While the kids are outside burning off some of that wonderful energy they have, you can whip up this adorable after sledding treat to warm them up. In my experience, kids love to eat or drink anything with a ‘face’….I don’t know why, but they do!

So take a break from the typical hot chocolate and serve them something a little bit different. Invite a few others moms over to keep you company in the toasty warm house while you watch the short people all bundled up outside, waddling around in their snow gear building sled runs and snowmen. Set out some snowman party wares,  and a few simple snacks and you are good to go!

I did say it was a four day weekend, didn’t I? Well, I have planned one of the days for you….what ever you decide to do to survive the other three days with the kids off school is up to you. I’m only kidding….kind of. Seriously, if you have any ideas on how to occupy the kids to share with me I would love to hear them!
