Angry Birds Party Supplies are coming to Discount Party Supplies! In some of the most exciting party news that we have heard in a while, we have gotten word that Angry Birds Party Supplies are going to be available in the not-too-distant future. This mobile video game has become wildly popular, for people of all ages. Everybody in America, and probably most of the world, immediately recognizes these brightly-colored birds, and their mortal enemies, the green pigs that have stolen their eggs. (Except my Aunt Bonnie, who doesn’t have a computer or a smart phone. When I mentioned them to her the other day, she said “Why would birds be angry?” Hi, Aunt Bonnie! I love you!)

The game was first released for the Apple mobile operating system in December of 2009, by a Finnish company, Rovio. The game quickly became a bestseller, and versions for Android, and other mobile systems followed soon after. The game is simple enough, involving birds slingshotting themselves at structures where pigs are hiding. There are five different kinds of birds, and some of them have different abilities. The small blue birds, split themselves into three even tinier birds that scatter like, well, birdshot. The green bird acts like a boomerang, and the yellow bird, when tapped in mid-flight, gains super-speed and ramming power. This game ( I will tell you from personal experience) is highly addictive. As soon as you beat one level, you feel compelled to go on to the next, and so on, and so on. Check out this clip, to get an idea of how the game action unfolds.
