Moms Will Love It : Method Brand Cleaning Products

If you have kids of any age, then here are some products you can count on to keep your home environment clean and safe for all kinds of fun. Along with vinegar, baking soda and club soda, my main go-to home care products are all from the Method brand. I seriously use Method products everyday, and yet keep forgetting to blog about them! Before and after any party, I use Method products to clean up. And I’m no Martha Stewart, I tend to allow clutter to build up in my home. But never any dirt, grime or dust. I take great satisfaction in having soft, clean laundry, soft, clean hands, and a soft and clean home for my family and our guests.

Currently, my favorite Method products are the sea minerals hand wash, the fabric softener dryer sheets, and the all-purpose cleaner. I love the hand wash because I can get a three-pack at Costco for cheap, and my hands feel clean and soft after washing, and not at all greasy or dry, like some soaps do. I love the dryer cloths because I know that the ingredients are natural, but leave no residue or static to deal with when I take my clothes out of the dryer. These dryer cloths are especially great for baby clothes, keeping them soft and looking new. And I never worry about my baby’s skin after using these dryer cloths. I love the all-purpose surface cleaner, because I live in a small place and really can’t afford the price or the cabinet space for cleaners for every different surface in my home. The all-purpose cleaner works great on kitchen counters, high chairs, tables, bathroom surfaces, and even mirrors. And since I have not only kids but pets running around here, sometimes eating things off the floor (hey! you know it happens in your home, too!), I rest assured that all Method products are non-toxic.

Being a somewhat hippie/environmentalist mom, I like to make sure that the products I buy are not only non-toxic for my kids, pets and the environment, but that the products I buy are not tested on animals. Method neither tests on animals, nor does it buy from suppliers who test on animals. In fact, Method’s founders, Adam Lowry and Eric Ryan, were named PETA’s (“People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) people of the year in 2006 for their work in creating outstanding cruelty-free cleaning products. That is part of the reason why my household likes to support Method. We like to think of Method products as “gentler than a thousand puppy licks,” which is a quote from Method’s website. And who doesn’t love puppy licks? Seriously folks, especially if you’re planning a birthday, football or Halloween party in the near future, you’ll need some of these products to take good care of your home!
