Lego Star Wars Party Supplies are coming to Discount Party Supplies! Lego has been around for generations, letting kids build and create structures, people, even entire worlds, allowing their imaginations to run wild. Once Lego started to create playsets that were based on popular movies, stories, and legends, the sky was the limit. Eventually Lego created playsets, and then video games that were based on the Star Wars series of movies. Now we have Lego Star Wars party supplies coming our way, so you can really thrill your child with a Lego Star Wars Party! If you know a child between the ages of five and twelve, chances are they can tell you all about Lego Star Wars, usually in exhaustive detail.
My seven year old son is a huge Star Wars fan (duh) and can identify everyone from Luke Skywalker, Qui-Gon Jinn, and the other heroes, to the villains like, Darth Maul, or Count Dooku, along with every other character in the Star Wars universe. He has become a huge fan of the Lego Star Wars video games which are available on all of the major platforms, Wii, XBox360 and Sony’s PS3. He has spent hours playing it, and had we allowed it, would have devoted more; possibly foregoing sleep, food, and bathroom breaks, to play it. If you were in doubt about the complete awesomeness of Lego Star Wars, and need a customer testimonial to convince you, here is what he had to say about it:
“I like it a lot because the levels are really cool, and you get to use grappling hooks, and you can customize the people, and you can customize their weapons! Some characters have cool head shapes and cool designs on them, and you get to see all of the different characters. Because you get lightsabers, and you get to go wherever you want. But some doors force you out, and it makes you jump back away from it. And there are giant machines and ships, like the giant chicken walker! And once I saw one of the giant chicken walkers, and I jumped in it, and I started shooting all the bad guys! “
Here is a clip of Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga for the Wii. The game is a lot of fun, kids enjoy it tremendously. And even tuckered out moms who really just want to have a cup of coffee and sit down for a few minutes have found themselves swinging lightsabers, leaping across chasms with wild abandon, and collecting points left and right. (Or so I hear.)
We will be keeping everyone updated about the Lego Star Wars party supplies theme, when we have news to share; with more product images, information about ship dates, and maybe even a gamer hint or two, for this awesome new theme, that has all of us (and our seven year old sons) so excited!
