Detroit Tigers Party Supplies are extremely popular around here. My step-mom is such a huge Tigers fan that I stocked up on Detroit Tigers party supplies the day they arrived at Discount Party Supplies. Friends and family all know not to call her when the Tigers are on, her favorite Christmas present was someone’s jersey and I’ve lost track of which are her “lucky” shirts, she is that much of a Tigers fanatic. And now she can enjoy a snack during the game on her Detroit Tigers plates with her Detroit Tigers napkins.

I even bought her the Detroit Tigers notepads, which are supposed to be party favors, but she keeps them near the phone in case she needs to write something down. I did stop myself from buying the MLB customizable danglers. As much as my dad supports and shares my step-mom’s love of the Detroit Tigers, the line has to be drawn somewhere. The danglers are perfect if you’re decorating for a Detroit Tigers party, but probably not great as an everyday household decoration.

The Tigers are currently 18-18, in 3rd place in the AL Central and tied for fourth overall in the American League. Of course if Jim Leland could hear my step-mom yelling at her television, she’s convinced they would be doing much better. She was telling me about her beloved Tigers when we spoke on Mother’s Day and she wasn’t thrilled with the fact Magglio Ordonez was batting in the No. 3 spot. She said Jim really needed listen to her and move him back to batting No. 6 and Boesch should be batting No. 3. In their spectacular 10-5 win over Toronto yesterday Boesch was hitting third and Ordonez had a day off… maybe she’s on to something?
